Unveiling the Essence and Expertise of FluiMix™

Our Solutions

In Line Auto Sampling Systems

The operation of the FluiMix® FMX-FL™ Hydrocarbon Sampler can be described as follows:

Flow is extracted from the primary pipeline and directed into a pumped circulation loop. It is then reintroduced into the main pipeline within a rapid loop, assuming uniform fluid consistency within the primary pipeline.

Subsequently, this flow is drawn into the sampling loop, which is purposefully designed to eliminate water traps and maintain a fluid velocity that guarantees the representativeness and homogeneity of the sample throughout the system.

The sampling loop passes through a sample receiver cabinet, strategically positioned for operator convenience. The enclosure is fully isolatable, allowing maintenance procedures to be performed without any disruption to the primary process.

Advanced Sampling System: Precision Extraction, Reduced Contamination, Dynamic Integration.

The system allows for the extraction of a representative sample with an accuracy of 0.035% in relation to the primary pipeline fluid, and this level of precision applies to all flow rates.

Within the enclosure, a flow-through cell sampler is employed, releasing 1cc samples directly into a sample receiver.

The brevity of the sample’s journey significantly reduces the risk of cross-contamination between different batches.

The enclosure itself is equipped to be heated, ensuring a consistent temperature to prevent solid or wax formation. It also houses the sample receivers, available in various capacities including fixed volumes of 5 liters, 10 liters, 18 liters, or constant pressure sample receivers (CPC) with options for manual or automatic changeover.

The system supports dynamic performance measurement, accomplished by incorporating a Can Weigh system for receivers or a level-sensor system for CPC receivers. Additionally, a sampler controller can be installed to provide configuration, monitoring, and control functions, including integration with Distributed Control Systems (DCS).

For added flexibility, optional withdrawable nozzles and quills can be hot-tapped into either the top or the bottom of the pipeline.

The system is conducive to the integration of online analyzers, such as water-in-oil monitors and densitometers, as part of the sampling loop. This ensures optimal representativeness, accuracy, and direct result comparisons.
